Which networks is the XL400 big enough for?
The XL400 scales to networks of up to 400 users; within the product family it sits in the Campus and Mid-Scale group. The firewall, the hotspot, VPN and signed access logging all run on a single device.
Firewall throughput is 14,000 Mbps, application inspection 5,000 Mbps, and NGFW throughput with every security module enabled 3,500 Mbps. As long as your internet line stays below these figures, the device will not become a bottleneck. On the interface side there is 6 Gbit Ethernet plus 2 SFP 1Gbit fiber ports.
