Which networks is the XL50 big enough for?
The XL50 scales to networks of up to 50 users; within the product family it sits in the Branch and Small Office group. The firewall, the hotspot, VPN and signed access logging all run on a single device.
Firewall throughput is 4,000 Mbps, application inspection 1,500 Mbps, and NGFW throughput with every security module enabled 1,000 Mbps. As long as your internet line stays below these figures, the device will not become a bottleneck. On the interface side there is 6 Gbit Ethernet, and no fiber port.
